Sixty years ago, back in 1958, saw the official opening of the Summerbee Secondary Modern School swimming pool by Councillor Henry Brown. The school was renamed the Bishop of Winchester School in 2004 and is now named the Bishop of Winchester Academy.

Jan’s late father Robert (Bob) Hale is in the photo along with few remembered names, Maurice Cluett, Maurice Cartridge, Wally Cartridge, Charlie Wills, Trumpy Gough, Gilly Potter and Geoff Tapper.
