A Better Way to Cite Online Sources

Every genealogist and family historian from beginner to professional will at some time confront the issue of source citations. Although great advances have been made in recent years to standardize and simplify citations, it is still too difficult. This video shows how citing online sources can be easier.

    Thanks for posting this! My own blog (Tracing Your Routes: The Official Blog of GenWed.com) has attempted to tackle the subject of using the internet as a valid tool for meaningful genealogy research…this was in light of the recent controversy (which keeps poppin up year after year) created when ‘someone’ said that the internet is not a good tool at all….Source citations are very important and having them makes the work of research a LOT easier for the next person who comes along :)
