Transport historian Brian Searle looks back at the life and times of the St Patrick, one of Weymouth’s most popular passenger ferries. The ‘Paddy’, as she was affectionately known, made her maiden voyage 60 years ago this month.

    hi brian i am trying to find out about my grandfather he was killed in an accidant aboard the great western that sailed from waterford in the 1950s i am just wondering if you could help me i know he died in fishguard. i am writing a story about him and i would like to have my facts right
