Family Connections

Solomon Slingo was baptised on June 9, 1805 at St. Julian’s, Wellow, Somerset, England, the eldest child of James Slingo, a mason and his wife Mary Hales. A brother arrived the following year and was baptised on December 28, Both brothers followed in their father’s footsteps to became masons.
