My mother was a Cooper of the family who for many years (1760s to 1920s) had a cottage at Truddoxhill and who in the past had been carpenters on the Longleat Estate. An ancestor John Cooper is commemorated by a wall plaque in Nunney Church and a number of the family were baptised over the years at Witham Friary. I gather from a contact on Genes Reunited that the Truddoxhill Coopers originally came from the Little Langford area near Salisbury. Has anyone any information on these Coopers and their association with Longleat?
Iam trying to find any service records photo`s or information on my farther David charles Sadler who served in the R.A.F. Regiment at R.A.F. Caterick in 1968-69 in 16 (f) squadren.
